I use design as a tool for distributed organizing. My goal is to create accessible content for everyone with a focus on accessibility and inclusion that centers underserved communities.

Create and execute communications strategy for the Mayor and First Lady through event design, paid, earned, and owned media on key policies and public services for @NYCMayor, @NYCFirstLady, @NYCMayorsOffice, and @NYCGov. Methodology includes data analysis, social listening, qualitative user research, accessibility and zero-waste practices.
Founded and organize the City’s annual NYC Digital Inclusion Conference on accessibility and inclusion by design for 200 attendees through sponsorships and committee-led model.
Create framework, write creative briefs, and project manage the first Mayor’s Creative Council. Manage and advise 200+ City agencies on emergency and crisis management, digital and physical accessibility, digital communications, and ad placement.

Conceptualized, wrote, and designed online communications strategies and partnered with unlikely allies to grow social media following from 19K to 210K on Facebook, 18K to 60K on Twitter, and 165K to 243K over email between 2014-2016.
Collaborated with the Messaging & Public Opinion Research Manager to analyze and visualize KPI metrics and audience profiles; tested audience’s behavior online; and boosted audience’s interaction across our digital platforms.
